Ever heard the saying, "if we break up, I'm going to be your girlfriends worst nightmare"?
Well, as bitchy as this statement may sound, consider this: When you're with someone, they become somewhat of an investment to you. You share your goals, thoughts, feelings and body with them. God forbid you should find out they're now sharing all that with someone else. Sour grapes? I think not...

The way I see it, relationships work like banks. You invest your money with the hope of keeping it safe and getting something out, not to mention, the longer the investment period the greater the interest return.
Now, our natural instinct tells us that if we can't have something then no one else can. On the other hand, why would you want to wear dirty underwear twice?
With this in mind, there are still people that devote energy into stalking their exes and putting up FB statuses such as: "I'm the best thing that ever happened to you and you will end up alone and wishing you had me back”... # truestory
Bottomline: I have no doubt in my mind that after 5 years of dating and 1 year of marriage my partners' new gf would have a serious problem with me, but if she genuinely makes him happy, who am I to stand in the way?
Here's to drinking sour grapes... *cheers*
